It's finally here! The Daviess County Relay For Life is TONIGHT at Diamond Lake Campground and Resort. The event begins at 6pm and continues through 6am, Saturday the 18th. This is my fourth year as Relay Chairperson in Daviess County and this is our fourth consecutive year at Diamond Lake. And we are thrilled with this year's list of special guests and performers. Chad And Jaclyn Run The Mud Run Course: Part 1 [VIDEO]

The Owensboro Mud Run is THIS Saturday at Diamond Lake Resort. This event is going to be awesome! Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society and you can still register.

Chad is always coming up with crazy ideas that I basically have no say-so in and running this course beforehand is his latest! We went out to Diamond Lake Tuesday afternoon and actually ran the entire course! (I'm still sore, I have blisters and my left leg is jacked up!) Although all of the course wasn't constructed yet, we scaled a 6 foot wall (well, I basically face-planted), we crossed grown-man monkey bars, attempted the cargo net and Chad even got in the water for those three obstacles. Watch and be prepared to laugh!

Diamond Lake To Host Mud Run to Benefit American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society, Diamond Lake Campground and Resort and WBKR want you to get "Up, Down and Dirty for a Cure!" We are hosting the first-ever "Mud Run" in Daviess County and it's coming up Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21st at Diamond Lake Campground and Resort. So, what exactly is a "mud run?" Owensboro Hotel Ends Up on Ebay. Any Takers?

Wendesday night, my friend Bj Emmick posted this on Facebook, "Go to Ebay and type in Owensboro Hotels and Motels." I replied, "Not sure where this is heading, but I can't wait." And, well, I should have known. Yep! The Tower Inn, formerly the impressive landmark Gabe's Tower, is an item up for bid on the world's largest auction site. And the asking price . . . $150,000!!! I'm sorry. I just coughed and choked . . . and NOT because I have a hernia. $150,000??? A "Buy It Now" price of a quarter of a million dollars?? I hate to rain on the parade and sound like Pessimistic Polly, but WHO is going to pay THAT for THIS?
