Country music icon, Willie Nelson, is coming to The Centre in Evansville TONIGHT. Willie is bringing his Willie Nelson & Family tour to town and we have been celebrating over the last couple of months with ticket giveaways and more. A few weeks ago, we had a TAD POLL about Willie during The WBKR Waking Crew. And that poll was . . . What is YOUR favorite Willie Nelson song? I don't have to hesitate a second to name mine. It's Willie's classic "Always on My Mind." And, I must say, there are several versions of that song I absolutely love. While Brenda Lee recorded the original version, it's a handful of covers that are on my mind. Check these out.

Our American Idol expert, Steve Thompson, saw this coming weeks and weeks ago. His prediction, WGWG was going to win Season 11. And, you may be asking, what does "WGWG" mean. White guy with guitar! I may have mentioned this on the air before and I realize it may make me a total couch potato, but I love American Idol. In fact, I think I have seen every single episode of every single season. Because of that, I have been along for the entire bumpy ride. I have heard every single sour note sung, but I have also been there to witness the incredible performances that make the show what it was originally designed to be . . . a way to uncover untapped talent and find, from the depths of oscurity, America's next great singing superstars.
