Jaclyn's Studio Session of St. Jude Song "Dreamer"

Each year, for our St. Jude Radiothon, I write original music to honor the hospital and its patients and patients families. This year's song is called "Dreamer" and is inspired by the story of Jeanna Dreamer and her young daughter, Ella, who is fighting a rare form of cancer that has resurfaced after a glorious six months in which Ella was cancer-free. A couple of weeks ago, Jaclyn recorded the song at Gray Sky Music (with the help of our good buddy, Matt Gray) and we shot some footage! Here's Jaclyn's studio session of "Dreamer!"

Hey, if Lady Gaga and Madonna can leak their new songs, Jaclyn and I figure we can too! This is the 4th year we have created original music for our St. Jude Radiothon and, earlier this week, we were in the studio with our buddy, Matt Gray with Gray Sky Music. Jaclyn To Premiere New St. Jude Song at "Denim and Diamonds"

"Denim & Diamonds" is coming up Friday night and we're giving you yet another reason to get your tickets! Jaclyn and I have been hard at work with Matt Gray at Gray Sky Studios here in Owensboro. We are putting finishing touches on our 2012 original song for St. Jude, "Dreamer." I wrote it. Jac's singing it (with help from Katie Beste from Mount Vernon, Indiana) and Matt arranged it. And you can get a sneak peak preview Friday night at our concert fundraiser for St. Jude, 'Denim and Diamonds" presented by Daniel Dick State Farm Insurance.
