Holiday World opens for the season on Saturday, May 5th and I am celebrating by sharing my list of the top five rides at the park.  I'm also throwing in some helpful tips on the best places to sit to maximize the thrills and chills.  Enjoy!

The opening day of Holiday World is getting closer and closer!  Opening day is Saturday, May 5th and park visitors are going to be in for a quite a treat when they get in the park.  Holiday World is installing ICEE machines!

If you're looking for a fun, summertime job, Holiday World wants YOU!  The Santa Claus, Indiana-based amusement park has announced it's seeking 2,200 seasonal employees.

Holiday World racked up some big honors over the weekend at the annual Golden Ticket Awards.  Among the honors, another huge award for Wildebeest!

Holiday World and Splashin' Safari's two water coasters, Wildebeest and Mammoth, are going to be featured on national television today!

Yesterday's JDRF walk at Holiday World was a huge success.  The event raised over $350,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund!  And, Macy's Squad of Owensboro was there to lead the way on behalf of Macy Roberts, a young Highland Elementary School student who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes a few years ago.

If you know someone who has the talent to star in one of Holiday World's 2017 shows, make sure they see this!  Auditions are set and Holiday World is currently casting a variety of shows at the park.  Here are complete details!

The Golden Ticket Awards were held over the weekend and our friends at Holiday World and Splashin' Safari picked up some amazing honors.  Among the biggest awards- Best Water Park Ride, which was awarded to the Wildebeest!

HUGE honors for our friends over at Holiday World.  @LocalPOV just published its list of the 30 Best Theme Park Rides in America.  And, guess what?  Holiday World has two of the Top 30 rides.  In fact, one of the park's roller coasters is even inside the Top Ten!

Happy Birthday to our friends at Holiday World!  Today marks the 70th anniversary of the Santa Claus, Indiana-based amusement park and they're celebrating by sharing some vintage video.  Check this out!

An iconic piece of Holiday World history will be on display when the park opens for its 70th Anniversary Season.  The Freedom Train returns!
