El'Agance Shemwell here! I'm the new intern at WBKR. In the fall, I'll be a junior at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, majoring in broadcasting with a minor in criminology. Here's more about me!

The WBKR gang would like to give a big welcome to our new intern from Western Kentucky University, Sidney Riney.  Sidney is a Communications Major and will be with us for the summer.

We have a brand new intern here at The Country Station.  She's Chloe Tyler, a senior at Owensboro High School.  Chloe has come to us to learn about radio, marketing and advertising and we're thrilled to have her along for the semester.  Chloe is very involved in academics and dance.  In fact, she's one of the most focused interns we've ever had.  But, I figured we would let Chloe introduce herself

Hey, Gang!  Sam the Intern needs our help!!  He recently auditioned for a gig as a cohost on the Commonwealth Network's television show, Kentucky Sports TV, which hosted by Matt Jones!  Sam made the trip to Lexington to audition in front of a panel of judges and now the decision has been turned over to us!  Yep!  THE PUBLIC GETS TO VOTE!  So, here's how you do it.

As you guys know, Holiday World is #1 for family fun!  But I'm not sure I have ever had as much fun as I did last week when I took Sam the Intern over to Santa Claus and cut him loose at Holiday World!  We rode roller coasters, the bumper cars, the Liberty Launch and even had time to take in a friendly (or not-so friendly) game of Skee Ball!  And, the best part of it all, WE HAVE VIDEO!!!  Ladies
