This happens pretty frequently.  A star releases a song that sounds so incredibly similar to another that suspicions and eyebrows are raised.  Most recently, this happened to Dierks Bentley with his song "Home."  A singer-songwriter named Jason Isbell started pointing fingers and claiming that Bentley and company lifted the chorus of their hit single from his song, "In A Razor Town.

Jac's Big O Party is happening in our front yard at our WBKR Studios on Frederica. We'll be hanging out from 9am - 2pm, raising money for Relay For Life. Salsarita's provided chicken tacos from 11am - 1pm and we'll be giving away a set of tickets for the Big O Music Fest, August 18th featuring Blake Shelton and lots more!

After my run yesterday, I was stretching and noticed my shoes had torn. Yep, I'd actually worn out my running shoes! Wow, I never thought that I would do that...ever! Then, I got to thinking and realized that it's been almost a year since I took up running. I still shutter to call myself a "runner", but I'm getting closer. And, oddly enough, I really enjoy it!

As I was reading about Jaclyn's encounter with a wasp, and then Dave Spencer's, I was reminded of a terrifying childhood experience which I relived a few weeks ago. Although I'm not allergic, that I know of, to things that sting, I will run like a banshee the moment one appears a few feet within my vacinity.
