If you were tuned into Jaclyn's show last week or have been on WBKR.com this week, you know that Carysn (a.k.a The Big Fat Baby) turned two-years-old on Thursday!  Because her cousin Tyler has a birthday quite close to hers, Jaclyn had a big party for the both of them on Sunday!  And, yes, Uncle Chad was invited.  Because I never turn down a potluck, free cake, and the chance to hang out with Jaclyn's crazy-a%$ family, I accepted the invitation and crashed the festivities.  In spite of the fact that I was stung by a kamikaze wasp as soon as I got to Jaclyn's, things were going relatively well until I asked to wear Carsyn's princess crown.  Then, the party hit a very sour note and little Linda Blair started spitting up pea soup and scaring priests!

All you have to do to know that Jaclyn Graves is a little crazy is tune into her each weekday from 9am to 2pm here on WBKR.  Now, Jaclyn is one of my very best friends and I, because I have a long list of them as well, love all of her zany quirks.  I know things about her even her husband and "lady" doctor don't know.  So, I feel like I need to share some of those secrets with YOU!  One thing you may not know about Jaclyn is that she is ALWAYS late!  I used to think that Dave Spencer wrote the book on driving into the parking lot at 92 miles an hour because he was going to miss the start of his airshift!  That is until I witnessed the day Jaclyn zipped into the parking lot (like she's freaking Danica Patrick) and rammed her GMC Acadia up in the middle of a tree!

Two years ago at the Opry Plaza Party to kick off the CMA Music Festival, Jaclyn was 18 months pregnant.  In fact, I'm pretty certain that Carsyn was crowning here at the show that made country music famous.  See, Jaclyn and I brought cornhole boards down to Nashville and challenged folks to a little "friendly" competition.  Despite the fact that Jaclyn's stomach looked like something out of the movie Alien, we were amazing.  We played all day long and only lost TWICE!!!  We are MASTERS of this game . . . or so we thought!

2011 March For Babies
 

Here at WBKR, we were very excited about Saturday's March For Babies!  And, now that it's wrapped, we are even MORE EXCITED!  The turnout Saturday morning was HUGE as teams from US Bank Home Mortgage, MPD, OCTCS, Fith Third Bank, Owensboro Pediatrics and many, many more joined forces to take part in an event that's been around since 1970!  March For Babies is the annual fundraiser for the March of Dimes and this year's march was record-breaking.  The amount raised blew us all away!
