June 29, 2012 For the 2nd year in a row, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will be making a stop in the Bluegrass state for this weekend’s Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway. In last year’s inaugural Quaker State 400, Kyle Busch piloted his #18 M&M’s Toyota to victory lane in front of a near sold out crowd. It has been a busy week in NASCAR and I am going to recap this week’s events and preview this weekend’s race.

NASCAR president Mike Helton finally broke his silence Friday on the traffic issues experienced at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta before, during, and after last Saturday night's first Sprint Cup Series race at the track, the Quaker State 400.
