The defending champion Louisville Cardinals have yet to be at full strength. While forward Chane Behanan has been reinstated following a suspension, guard Kevin Ware--who's recovered from a gruesome leg injury last spring--will be out at least two more weeks.

He was a key component in the Louisville Cardinals' 2013 national title run, scoring 15 points in the championship game. But, now, Chane Behanan will be sitting for the foreseeable future following an indefinite suspension.

Some of us may still have that particular moment engraved on our brains. It's that moment when Louisville guard Kevin Ware landed awkwardly during an Elite Eight matchup with Duke in the 2013 NCAA Tournament and his legged snapped like a twig.

Despite the fact that the NCAA Basketball Championship happened more than two weeks ago, rabid college hoops fans still have plenty over which to salivate here in the heart of spring.

Jake Owen was in Louisville Friday, April 19th for a show at the KFC Yum! Center for Jason Aldean's "Night Train Tour". If you follow Jake on Twitter, then you already know how much he loves college sports. Even thou he is a Florida State fan, he visited and worked out with the Louisville Cardinals football team and even managed to shoot a few hoops...

He really hasn't averaged much more than 8 points or so and 23 minutes per game all season. He's recovered from health issues that Louisville head coach Rick Pitino believed would sideline him for the season.

When Kevin Ware saw that his broken tibia was sticking six inches out of his leg, he screamed and went into shock. Then he repeatedly implored his team to beat Duke. More than likely, his surprisingly acute presence of mind didn't include foreseeing an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman BECAUSE of that leg.
