Long before they'll make the Big O Music Fest stage at Reid's Orchard part of their summer, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen, and David Nail will be performing at "Bama Rising: a Benefit Concert for Alabama Tornado Recovery." It was in late November when the bad news came that Montgomery Gentry's Eddie Montgomery had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Regardless of whether or not you hear a prognosis, the reaction is always the same. And it came in a year that saw Montgomery Gentry and longtime record label SONY Nashville part company. The news of Eddie's illness was followed in December by the announcement that his wife had asked for a divorce. But, finally, the news is good.
