On April 23rd, 2013, at approximately 4:45pm, the Owensboro Police Department responded to a bomb threat at Menards, located at 3001 Heartland Crossing Blvd. An investigation was opened after responding units were informed that a male subject made threats to blow up this location during a phone call to the store.

"Owensboro Police Department detectives are asking the community for help as they attempt to locate missing juvenile, Dylan S. Ward, 17 years old. The juvenile had been in an argument with a family member and was last seen by his father on March 22nd, 2013 as he left his home in the 1600 block of Center Street.

The Owensboro Police Department is excited to announce the 2nd annual "Pedal With The Police". The event is scheduled for Saturday, September 22nd from 9:00am - 12:00pm.

Children are invited to bring their parents and ride alongside members of the OPD as they ride the Greenbelt. The five mile bike ride will start and end at US Bank on 2800 Tamarack (located in the Mid-America Airpark).
