I have noticed a lot of my facebook friends playing a game where they name concerts they have attended and one is a lie. I have decided to bite the bullet and play along!
This morning on The Morning Drive we played "What Hurts the Most" by Rascal Flatts. It is, by far, my absolute favorite Rascal Flatts song. And my all-time favorite performance of that song was when the guys invited Kelly Clarkson to sing it with them. Remember this?
Fans know ‘The Church on Cumberland Road’ was the first song Rascal Flatts ever performed together, and they recently heard lead singer Gary LeVox describe the moment as something God came down from heaven to deliver. A few minutes earlier, that same night, LeVox was threatening to leave the stage before that show began. He was “disgusted” that Joe Don Rooney was filling in.
'The Church on Cumberland Road' is a signature song for Rascal Flatts, so it was an easy choice for their 'Off the Record' cover. The three men explain why this Shenandoah track is so special to them before delivering a brilliant live performance of a highlight from their live shows.
Sometimes a band will spend hours, days or even weeks deciding if a song is good enough to make an album. Then there are songs like 'Riot,' a ballad from Rascal Flatts' new 'Rewind' album. The trio talks about the first time they heard the song before performing an intimate, acoustic version of the track.
Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts says 'Rewind' is the song that bridges a gap between what fans know of the superstar trio and where they're headed. This intimate, acoustic performance of the title-track from their new album shows a rarely seen side of the group.

It took a little bit longer today, but we finally got a Rascal Flatts ticket winner. Personally, I love that these clues led our winner to my all time favorite book.
Well, it seems to be getting GRADUALLY more difficult to find these Rascal Flatts tickets in our Twitter giveaway. Leonard Westerfield only needed one clue Monday. On Tuesday, it took TWO.
