The First Annual Miss Owensboro Pageant a benefit for the American Cancer Society and Real Men Wear Pink will take place in October 2018 at the RiverPark Center.

Breast Cancer is not a respecter of person and it can even affect men. The American Cancer Society recruits community leaders each year to help spread awareness. One of those men is Adam Johnston of the Owensboro Police Department.

Yesterday, I traded radio for TV for a bit.  My friend Anna Way (from the American Cancer Society) and I headed over to WEHT in Henderson to chat with Ange Humphrey on Local Lifestyles.  Ange invited us onto her show to chat about the Real Men Wear Pink campaign.
