Now that the two song birds have proved their vocal prowess, they're putting their talent where your television is with videos for their current singles.
July 7, 2011 If you've ever been to Nashville, you know music is pretty much everywhere in the city -- and when you're recent 'American Idol' winner Scotty McCreery, that includes the men's room.
McCreery, currently in town to record his debut album, recently received an unusual serenade while using the facilities.
Sure, they’re technically still kids, but one can’t help but say “aww!” at the newly released baby photos of ‘American Idol’ stars Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina.
The photos, released by ‘American Idol’s’ website, show the season 10 winner and runner-up looking so-adorable-it-hurts as they pose for the cameras. In Scotty’s case, we see him with his older sister, while Lauren poses in a cute frilly dress and bow.
June 14, 2011 They've performed together before, they're both young country artists, and they just finished an 'American Idol' run that ended with him in first place and her in second, so it's only natural to ask: Have Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina talked about recording a duet now that they're labelmates?
"Yeah, we have," says McCreery, although Alaina adds,"We need to establish ourselves as artists first ... hopefully down the road, if we're still around, we'll put something together."

May 25, 2011 Tonight is the 10th season finale of American Idol and one thing is for sure . . . we're going to have a country star taking the title! Last night in the finale, my pre-season pick, Lauren Alaina, squared off against America's boy next door, Scotty McCreery! According to Idol's Facebook fan poll (posted BEFORE the show yesterday), Scotty was the winner by a country mile! But, last night, most agree that Lauren had the better night! That already happened once this season when Pia Toscano was voted off the show WAY too early! Last night, it happened again!! James Durbin, who I fully expected to make the final and even win this season of Idol, was voted off the show . . . leaving Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina and Hayley Reinhart to battle for the title. American Idol is down to its version of the Final Four and, last night, James, Lauren, Hayley and Scotty took the stage twice to battle for a spot in the Final Three. In Round One, the contestants took on songs that have inspired them. In Round Two, they got an assist from Lady GaGa with the songs of Leiber and Stoller.
