Ya'll know Benefield is a huge a tennis fan. I have played tennis my whole life. I have watched tennis my whole life. It truly is no joke to say that I have probably spent about 20% of my entire lifetime on a tennis court or watching tennis in a stadium or on television. But, in all my 41 years, I have never seen anything like THIS! This is Agnieszka Radwanska, a current top five player on the WTA Tour. Check out this shot she hit a couple of weeks ago at the 2013 Sony Open. It's NUTS!

I am a huge tennis fan! In fact, I hate to admit this, but I have probably spent 15 to 30% of my total lifetime on a tennis court, in a tennis stadium, or in front of a television with a tennis court on it. I got addicted to tennis in the early 80's when Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert were going head-to-head in one of the greatest rivalries in the history of sports, when Yannick Noah thrilled his countrymen and won the 1983 French Open and when Jimmy Connors took out John McEnroe to win the 1982 Wimbledon title. And today, I am just as hooked as I was then. Serena Williams. Novak Djokovic. Maria Sharapova. And Roger Federer, the greatest player of all-time! So, where am I going with this? We may be getting a brand new indoor tennis facility right here in Owensboro!

I am a HUGE tennis fan! And, apparently, I am not alone. I can truly sit in front of the television for hours and watch tennis. And I do it nearly every day. And I travel to professional tournaments as much as I can, sit there in the stands, and wrench my neck back and forth following the ball across the net and back and forth along the court. It's a wonder I don't live inside a chiropractor's office. It's nice to know, however, someone else shares my die-hard love for the sport. Even if they're a couple of cats. WATCH!
