Lionel Richie's much-anticipated country CD, Tuskegee, was released today. I was up at 4am this morning buying it from ITunes. And, it is AWESOME! Lionel, who has some strong country roots anyway, decided, at the age of 62, to release an album jam-packed with country-fried guest stars. Tuskegee features 13 of Lionel's biggest pop hits reimagined and re-recorded with the help of some of the biggest superstars in country music. Here's a mash-up of some of the tracks from the disc. Next week, Lionel Richie is set to release his brand new CD, Tuskegee. And, YES! It's COUNTRY! Lionel is re-recording his most famous songs and turning them into duets with the biggest stars in country music. Stars like Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Shania Twain and more! I follow Sugarland on Facebook and, yesterday, the band posted up a link to a special sneak preview of the Lionel Richie/Jennifer Nettles duet "Hello!" And it is going to be AWESOME! Take a look!
