Western KY Raptor Center Fundraising Event
September 13, 2012 Eric from the Western Kentucky Raptor Center stopped by my show today to talk about their upcoming fundraising event and brought the cutest little Eastern Screech Owl along you've ever seen! Thor was a little nervous about his first radio appearance, but he did great! (Ok, he pooped on a plate and feathers were everywhere, but that's ok, haha!)
The center is holding a really neat fundraising event at the Western Kentucky Botanical Gardens Sunday, September 16th from 4:00pm - 8:00pm. The guests of honor include an American Kestrel, a Red Tail Hawk, Screech Owls and a Turkey Vulture!
