At Western Kentucky University The Spirit Makes The Master and no one exemplifies that more than President Gary Ransdell. A proud WKU alum, Dr. Ransdell understands and appreciates everything that a Hilltopper embodies. For close to twenty years, Dr. Ransdell has served the university as President, but recently announced his reign as King of the Hill is winding down.

If you know anything about me, you know how much I love football. And, you know how proud I am to be a Western Kentucky Hilltopper. So, imagine my excitement when I found out that there is a Women's Football Clinic being hosted by the Hilltoppers this summer! I think this sounds awesome...

The Western Kentucky University Owensboro Alumni chapter is hosting an the 'Dinner, Drinks and Tour of the Augenstein Alumni Center', Saturday, February 1st. Tour the beautiful new Augenstein Alumni Center and enjoy the men's basketball game against Texas State that evening!

This is pretty cool.  WKU grad and Hartford native, Kirker Butler, is hard at work these days co-executive producing and writing the sitcom The Neighbors.  And, now, his show has garnered an Emmy award nomination!

My Western Kentucky Hilltoppers are playing in their first ever bowl game appearance in Detroit on December 26th. The Tops are taking on Central Michigan in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl at Ford Field.
