Talladega! NASCAR!

NASCAR rolls into Talladega Superspeedway Sunday and you can hear the race right here on WBKR at 11 a.m.

Jeff Gordon, leading in points, hopes, "...running this good builds confidenece and makes you think you're going to win."

Greg Biffle says Talledega is an exciting course, "one minute it's a dull moment and the next high-energy, white knuckle."

In NASCAR highlights, Marcus Ambrose has been fined $25,000 and Casey Mears $15,000 for the fight they had at Richmond. Both guys can't race until May 28th.

This week in Talladega, Donnie and Bobby Allison (pictured below) and Red Farmer, known affectionately as the "Alabama Gang" were honored. A section of the raceway as been renamed the "Alabama Gang Superstretch".
