Last Tuesday night in Newark, New Jersey, Taylor Swift almost had a terrible accident. During her "Speak Now" tour the show closes with "Love Story". Taylor enters a Juliet-esque balcony that is supposed to rise high above the crowd and return to the stage for the finale.

However, in Newark the floating balcony got stuck perhaps sixty feet above the crowd. Taylor, ever so calm for such a youth, continued singing. Her panicked stagehands and bodyguards rushed to her aid, through the crowd, and placed themselves underneath the balcony as it slowly was lowered into the crowd.  Watch and observe how cool she remained all the way through and how the crowd tried to get at her. Thank God for bodyguards! Why do management types take such chances with these artists? It is downright dangerous.
