#TBT: I Found My Grandfather’s Old Owensboro Oilers Unis [VIDEO]

We've been going through my mom's old stuff. (Not to worry. She's still with us; we're just consolidating.) And we made a couple of awesome discoveries!

We found my dad's old Owensboro High School Band uniform in her hope chest AND my grandfather's Owensboro Oilers uniforms from the 1920s in the back of a closet.

I was really surprised the find the Oilers unis since I haven't seen them in decades and, more or less, thought a museum or my aunt or uncle in New Mexico had them.

Nope. Here they are:

CORRECTION: The Owensboro Oilers' first year was 1935, so my grandfather did not play in the 1920s, as I've always believed.
