The City of Owensboro Unveils Commemorative Blue Bridge Tie [Photo]

It's an Owensboro landmark.  And, now, the city's famous Blue Bridge will be featured on a limited edition tie and proceeds will benefit a local foundation.  See the tie and found out how you can own one here.  But hurry!

Here's the limited edition Blue Bridge Tie!

Beginning today, the limited edition "Blue Bridge" Tie will be available for sale at Adams & Sons Men's Fine Clothiers.  The tie was designed by Adams & Sons and was produced by Virginia-based Collared Greens.  There are just 75 neckties available to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the opening of Owensboro's famed Glover H. Cary Bridge.  The Blue Bridge's Tie design features architectural elements from the landmark, as well as a color that was selected to match the bridge's famous hue!

The theme for this year's tie is simple: 75 Years-75 Ties-$7,500!

All the proceeds from the sale of the limited edition Adam's & Sons Blue Bridge Tie will be donated to Owensboro Health Foundation to help meet the needs of patients who are less fortunate. The donation will help pay for expenses such as travel, lodging, and medical costs for those individuals. Since its inception, Owensboro Health Foundation has supported numerous projects impacting the lives of the people in our region. In 2014, more than 8,000 of our area’s family members, friends, and neighbors benefited through programs funded by this foundation.
