This is unbelievable!  The precision.  The musicality.  The emotion.  The Daviess County High School Band of Pride competed in Nashville over the weekend in the Music City Invitational and thrilled audiences and judges with their rousing presentation of "Lincoln."  This is triumphant and earned the band a raucous standing ovation and the lion's share of top honors in the competition. WATCH!

The Daviess County Band of Pride absolutely raked in the accolades and trophies.  They were awarded 1st Place Overall with a score of 92.15.  They won the Mayor's Cup in the Large Division as well as Best Overall Music Performance and Best Overall Visual Performance.  And the percussion section was awarded 1st Place in the Large Division.
