The Jason Koger “Look Ma! No Hands” T-Shirt Challenge

This morning on The WBKR Waking Crew, we talked with my good buddy, Jason Koger, who issued a challenge to all of our WBKR listeners.  As some of you know, Jason lost both of his forearms and hands in a freak accident three-and-a-half years ago.  If you’ve seen Jason out and about since then, you may have seen him wearing his favorite t-shirt which says, “Look, ma!  No hands!”  Well, Jason has decided that he needs a new shirt and, after soliciting suggestions from his Facebook friends last night, gave us a call this morning to ask for our help!

So the challenge was issued!  And you all responded.  We received about 30 different suggestions and listed below are the Top 5 finalists . . .

Steve Thompson-  You let YOUR fingers do the walking!

Mary Hall-  Former Chainsaw Juggler

Scott Higdon-  Best Hands-Free Device Ever

Brad McNeil-  This shirt cost an arm and an arm

Billy Tyler-  Lorena Bobbit has nothing on MY wife

By the way, Jason declared Billy’s suggestion the best of the bunch and Billy won 2 tickets to the Taste of Country concert, Saturday, Sept 10th at Ellis Park in Henderson.

But suggestions kept rolling in . . . including an honorable mention from Aaron Tomer who offered up SHARK BITE SUIT TESTER!

Randy Bowman and our very own Jaclyn Graves suggested YOU SHOULD SEE THE OTHER GUY!

And there’s this suggestion from Shannon Coomes that we got off the fax machine!

And Kizzy called with a hilarious suggestion of her own.

How about a T-shirt that says "KICKBALL KILLER?"

Thanks to everyone who shared their ideas this morning and an extra special thanks to those of you who tried to get through to the studio lines but couldn’t!  And a big THANK YOU to Jason Koger, who never ceases to amaze me with his spirit and ability to turn a horrible twist of fate into a wonderful inspiration for us all.  Jason, I’ve got a T-shirt for you . . .

It simply says “THE MAN!”

Peace Out!
