Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected to develop late Friday afternoon ahead of a cold front.  Severe storms are a strong possibility, especially over southwest Indiana and the Pennyrile Region of Kentucky after 3 PM.  Damaging winds will be the greatest threat, but damaging hail and tornadoes will also be possible.  The severe potential should push east of the area by 9 PM.

The potential for thunderstorms returns to all or part of the area Monday night and Tuesday.  At this time, the main concerns appear to be lighting and heavy rain.
