The Official Sweatin’ for St. Jude 24-Hour Workout Schedule
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Angel and I will are spending Tuesday and Wednesday Sweatin' for St. Jude. We're working out for 24 consecutive hours at the Owensboro Family YMCA and the Athenian. It's going to be a challenge, so we need you guys to cheer us on and, if you can, join us for some fun fitness classes. You'll be able to keep us company and help us get across the finish line. 7am-8am Suspension Training
8am-9am Spin Intervals
9:15am-10:15am YOGA with Kim
GO TO FAMILY BRANCH
RETURN TO ATHENIAN
11:30am-Noon Run 1.5 miles from the YMCA to the Athenian
12pm-1pm BOOT CAMP
1pm-2pm Run 1.5 miles from the Athenian to the YMCA/Lunch
AT THE YMCA
2pm-3pm Swim 300 yards (6 laps)
3pm-3:30pm Run 1.5 miles from the YMCA to the ATHENIAN
AT THE ATHENIAN
4:15pm-5:15pm Get Fit!
5:30pm-6:30pm BOOT CAMP
8pm-9pm Racquetball Match!
9pm-10pm Treadmill 5K
10pm-11pm Elliptical Intervals
11pm-12am Weight Training on Matrix Equipment (arms)
12am-1am Racquetball Round 2!
1am-2am Stair Stepper/Seated Bicycle
2am-3am Treadmill 5K
3am-4am Weight Training on Matrix Equipment (legs)
4am-5am Ab Work & a Good Stretch
5:30am-6:30am Group Cycling
6:30am-7am Victory lap from the Athenian, past WBKR studios, to the YMCA
Sweatin' for St. Jude runs (no pun intended) from 7am on Tuesday, September 5th to 7am, Wednesday, September 6th. You'll be able to follow along on air and online at WBKR.com and the WBKR Facebook page. We'll giving hourly updates!!
Of course, you're invited to come by and join us as we SWEAT! Again, all classes in italics are group classes and we'd LOVE to have you join us and keep us company. We're gonna need the support and the company.
