The Prayers for Jasper Henderson Facebook Page

Alright, ya'll.  An Ohio County family is asking you to help lift the spirits of their little warrior named Jasper Henderson.  Jasper has already had two heart surgeries and, in just over a month, is set to have another.  And here's what you can do to help the little guy.

This photo of Jasper was taken last week when he was at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville.  That's where he'll undergo his third heart operation in June.

Jasper was born with several severe congenital heart defects and had his first operation when he was just seven days old.  The second came when he was just six months old.  And, now, he's facing a third and we're told this next surgery is a "big one".  In fact, Jasper was in the hospital last week as his doctors placed springs in his blood vessels to help with flow.

Jasper's parents Megan and Nathan Henderson are looking to us and to you to help lift this little guy's spirits.  They have created a Prayers for Jasper Henderson Facebook page and want all of us to LIKE it, so their son can see that the tristate is rallying around him.

(April 22nd) Sorry guys it been a little bit since I've updated! Jasper is back home! We took a day off from Facebook and phone really in general. He is doing okay, still sore (no fever today.) He has walked some and is playing with his cars while laying around. His oxygen Machine was delivered yesterday, and his pulse oxygen meter will come in within the next few days. He turned a little blue last night, but we believe it was due to him being upset (pressure dressing removal.) Please please please continue the prayers. Jasper goes in May to see his cardiologist for EKG, Heart Echo. Then we will be traveling back to Louisville to meet with Dr. Austin (Jasper cardiovascular surgeon, the surgeon that will be performing Jasper Fontan Open Heart Surgery.) The Fontan Open Heart Surgery has been set for June, but the exact date will be told to us in the next couple of weeks. Keep praying ‪#‎teamjasper‬

Also, plans are underway for a big cookout, fundraiser and rally on Saturday, May 23rd.  We'll keep you posted!
