The hills are alive with the sound of music! The Theatre Workshop of Owensboro presents "America's Favorite Musical": Rodgers & Hammerstein's award-winning The Sound of Music, June 1-10 at the TWO Opryhouse.

Inspired by the real life story of the von Trapp family, the play follows the story of Maria, a Nun assigned to a temporary position as Governess for the seven children of Captain George von Trapp. The Sound of Music includes such memorable songs as "Do, Re, Mi", "My Favorite Things", and "Climb Every Mountain". Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30p with matinee performances on Sunday June 3rd and 10th at 2:00pm.

Tickets for The Sound of Music are on sale now at the TWO Box Office (270) 683-5333, and online at TheatreWorkshop.org. Orchestra seats are $20 for adults and $12 for students. Balcony seating is available for $18 and $10. Tickets are half-price for TWO members and discounts for groups of ten or more are available.
