New Thomas Rhett Video

I've been a music director for about 25 years and I always like to predict who the next big superstar will be. Sometimes, like in the case of Garth Brooks, an artist hits superstar status before you can even get the words out of your mouth.

My latest prediction?

Thomas Rhett is country music's next superstar, the next in line to move into that category, the next in line to headline shows a draw sell-out crowds.

It started to feel like that with the release, in the spring, of his most recent smash "Crash and Burn."

And now he has a brand new song that just sounds like a world-beater. It's an expertly produced and written ballad that will push all the necessary buttons.

I had three requests for a replay within an hour of playing for the first time.
