Wow, right out of AMC's Mad Men, comes this 1967 TV commercial for Kentucky Fried Chicken. I don't remember this but I gotta tell you it is pretty creepy. Now, to refreshen your memory, Kentucky Fried Chicken's big commercial push back in that era was the Colonel's secret recipe of spices. So, watch as they try to get the 77 year old Colonel to spill the beans. They have him hooked up to a lie detector, but instead of telling them at they really want to know, he cackles like a mad scientist.

According to You Tube comments, he colonel also loved exploitation films. So much so that he often did product placement in low budget films during the 60's and early 70's, where he would be in the old film giving the actors chicken on screen.

I loved the Colonel. I got to meet him when I lived in Louisville. If you have some spare time, check him out on Wikipedia. Fascinating dude.
