Tristate Faces Moderate Risk of Severe Weather Saturday [Forecast]
In the words of a popular local meteorologist, "this doesn't happen all that often." But it has happened today. The National Weather Service has placed a big chunk of the WBKR listening area under a MODERATE risk of severe weather and we could see large hail, heavy rain, damaging winds and tornadoes.
According to the National Weather Service-
Thunderstorms are expected, and there is a moderate risk storms will be severe. This is especially the case for this afternoon and evening. Every form of severe weather is possible, including damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes. Heavy rainfall and deadly lightning will also be storm hazards.
