Two Rivers Buddy Ball is holding their 2nd annual Special Needs Awareness Fair this Saturday, 9:00am-12:00pm at Lewis Lane Baptist Church in Owensboro. Two Rivers Buddy Ball is a non-profit sports league for kids ages 5-20 with any mental or physical disability that would keep them from playing in a regular league. The organizers are committed to offering this league free of charge with the help of area sponsors.

The league was first formed in 2008 with 43 kids playing baseball. Today, in addition to baseball, bowling, basketball, cheerleading, soccer, a swimming program, and a fishing tournament are made available for the kids. Here's a look at what Two Rivers Buddy Ball is all about:

Booths will be set up at the Special Needs Awareness Fair with a fair-like atmosphere with inflatables and other activities. For more information on the fair and Two Rivers Buddy Ball, contact Billy Shain at 270-315-9925 or you can email bshain@oolwireless.net
