The temperature was 0 this morning... What was the temperature outside?  There wasn't one.... It was nothing... ZERO.  But praise the heavens that my tires weren't noticeably losing air until the temp got up to a comfortable 12.  Time for the most uncomfortable part of my day.

So the Caddy has Hubcaps as you can see and it also has those clutch whitewalls and when I bought it 3 years ago there were extended valve stems that way you wouldn't have to remove the hubcap to fill the tire with air.  This is a problem now because ever since I got my new tires the fellas at the tire store thought it would be necessary to just throw those away.  Every time I want to put air in my tire I have to use the special tool to remove the center piece of the hubcap and then pry it off.  Today when the temperatures hit a steamy 12 degrees my passenger front decided to spit a few pounds of pressure out.  Cold temperatures will do that and you should all pay attention to it!

So no biggy, I get my portable air compressor out of the trunk and go to the glove box to retrieve my hub cap removal tool.  It wasn't there. Great, so now I have to JAM this little valve cover inside of the hub cap and pray that it connects.  It didn't... and my hands are blocks of ice.  It's alright, it still has 20 pounds I'll make it to the gas station and pay seventy five cents for..... AIR.

Taking the valve stem caps off of a hidden valve stem buried inside of a freezing cold not to mention FILTHY hub cap is a real pain but it's gotta be done. So I filled up the front tires to equal pressure points and said screw the back tires it's cold.

There is a valuable lesson here.  When the cold temperatures come you definitely want to pay attention to the air in your tires!!!
