UPDATE: We Located The Owners Of The “Ell-Bee” Board

Wow! What a difference a blog and a Facebook post makes. As you recall, I wrote about the mysterious board propped up beside the building at WBKR. I had a few theories, but after a few hours, we got this message....

Hi Chad. Today on Facebook there was a wooden board posted with "ELL BEE" on it. My dad owned Ell Bee towing and auto repair before he passed away January 8th 2014. My brother Patrick Boling now owns it and I am looking to get that board back for him. I've called the station but cannot get through. If you could contact me and let me know something that would be fantastic! I'm frequently on my email, however you can give me a call....

Needless to say, my theories were way off, and I'm glad the family found a great piece of their business history. We salute the late Larry Bowling and everyone at Ell-Bee Towing. I love happy endings!
