I'd have to say that, of all of my visits to the Grand Ole Opry (not counting the live broadcasts backstage), the night I got to watch Chris Young be officially inducted is my all-time favorite.

There's a real magic that floats through the historic old building when that happens and I wanted to be there that night.

Young had been officially invited by Vince Gill and then, on the night I was there, was officially INDUCTED by Brad Paisley.

It was a star-studded night that culminated in that historic moment.

And, yes, it's historic. Among the many reasons the Grand Ole Opry is important is the history of the venue, and its predecessor, the Ryman Auditorium.

Well, less than a year later, the Grand Ole Opry is adding another country star to its ranks in the form of Dustin Lynch.

That's right. When Dustin joins Cole Swindell and Lauren Alaina at the Ford Center in Evansville this December, he will be on stage as the newest member of the Opry.
