Watch the Big Game at Owensboro’s Brand New Convention Center

Grand opening weekend for the Owensboro Convention Center is going to be action-packed.  In addition to the opening gala with country music star Sara Evans and the grand opening on Saturday, officials are pulling out the stops for the first Sunday.  Football fans, listen up!  Folks at the convention center are planning a HUGE Big Game Party and are  mounting large screen TV's throughout the center and inviting the public to watch Super Bowl XLVIII!

On Sunday, February 2nd, the Owensboro Convention Center will open to the public at 10am.  Brunch will be served at 12:30pm, with an interfaith blessing at 1:30.  Then, the center will host a Big Game Viewing Party from 2pm to 10pm.  That party is free and open to the general public.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
