Owensboro's Bowl for the Cure is this Thursday and Friday and you what that means!  Dave Spencer, Jaclyn Graves, Steve Horn and I are going to be lacing up our bowling shoes and hitting Diamond Lanes South.  Owensboro's version of Bowl For The Cure has been expanding over the past couple of years and this year's edition is no different!  There are sessions at 5:30pm and 7:30pm on Thursday and Friday and they are FULL!  In fact, WBKR has THREE teams this year and we are all very excited to lace up our shoes and roll some strikes (well, hypothetically speaking!)

I recently had a chance to sit down with Lillian Haynes, a volunteer with Bowl For The Cure and a breast cancer survivor, to chat about the event and reminisce about past triumphs and hilarious disappoinments (like the time Sam the Intern beat Dave Spencer by 40 pins)!

Bowl For The Cure is an annual event that seeks to raise awareness about breast cancer and funds for breast cancer research!  It's sponsored by Susan G. Komen Greater Evansville!
