WBKR’s “Denim & Diamonds” St. Jude Fundraiser Returns!

"Denim & Diamonds" is back! WBKR and Daniel Dick State Farm Insurance proudly present "Denim & Diamonds"- The Concert Fundraiser for St. Jude. It's 7pm, Friday, February 17th at the Theatre Workshop Opryhouse in downtown Owensboro. And, this year, we have an amazing line-up of talent joining us as we present an evening full of inspirational music and moving stories of hope from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. We thank you for supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis and encourage you to listen for the 9th Annual WBKR/Poole's Pharmacy Care St. Jude Radiothon February 23rd and 24th on The Country Station, 92.5 WBKR. We'll bring you 26 hours of inspirational stories from St. Jude, a landmark research hospital dedicated to "Finding Cures" and "Saving Children."

 Last year, WBKR shattered its fundraising records and raised over $80,000 in two days for the hospital. WBKR is just one of hundreds of country radio stations around the nation who partner with St. Jude each year to hold radiothons. The "Country Cares" network is the brain-child of Alabama frontman Randy Owen, who continues to encourage country artists, radio personalities and fans to support the life-saving mission of St. Jude.

Tickets for "Denim & Diamonds" are just $20 a piece and all proceeds from ticket sales benefit St. Jude.
