WBKR’s St. Jude Radiothon – Gavin Howard Gives His Birthday Money
February 21, 2013 5:56 PM 8 year old Gavin Howard brought his birthday money – $322! – to give to our St. Jude Radiothon. That’s a kid helping kids.

When kids do this it just has such an impact on those of us who’ve been to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We’ve seen those kids who are going through so much more than adults could withstand. Then, when Jenny and William Howard walked in with Gavin wanting to give us his money, well we all just choked up.
With kids like Gavin, we WILL find a cure for cancer some day!
