Halloween trick-or-treating is on the move in the tri-state thanks to the weather.

While we're enjoying an incredibly beautiful day (at the time of this writing), we're just two days out from what figures to be a pretty wet and possibly stormy Halloween.

While "dark and stormy nights" are perfect settings for the scariest day of the year, the kids want to trick-or-treat.

That's why Muhlenberg County and the City of Fordsville are moving it to Tuesday, October 30th.

Your Weather Authority, Eyewitness News, is giving us a 100% chance for a wet Wednesday.

And while the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center outlook doesn't have any of the tri-state under a severe weather risk of any kind, we are looking at a lot of rain.

Plus, that outlook has time to change in the next 48 hours.

Other communities in the area, including Owensboro, are making similar moves.

We'll keep you posted.
