Ok, so I've never really sat around and thought to myself, "Hmm... I just can't help but wonder what 'Taser' stands for." Ha! I mean, I know what a Taser is and I sure as heck had fun tasing Chad a few weeks ago. (Karma is real people and it feels sooo good, ha!)

Last night, a Twitter account I follow tweeted that TASER is an acronym. The name actually means something and I thought it was interesting. So... what do you think it stands for? Here's a hint... it's not "Taming And Subduing Excessive Rebels". (Hey, I just came up with that on the spot, that's pretty impressive, right?!?)

Ok, Taser stands for...

T - Thomas

A - A.

S - Swift's

E - Electronic

R - Rifle

Yep, Thomas A. Swift's Electronic Rifle is Taser. According to Wikipedia, (Hey, if it's on the internet it's right. Right?) Jack Cover began development on the device in 1969 and named it after a childhood friend of his, Thomas A. Swift. Pretty cool, huh?

Oh, in case you didn't see when I got put the Taser to Chad, take a look HERE. I giggle watching it, haha!
