Each Monday morning on The CB Radio Show, Brett and I are featuring a brand new recipe in our What's Cookin'? segment.  And, this week, Val Holcomb is back in the studio with something completely sinful!  It's her recipe for Reese's Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies.  Time to drool!

REESE'S CHEWY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

2 c flour
3/4 very good cocoa
1 tp baking soda
1/2 tp salt
2 1/2 sticks butter  (1 1/4 c), at room temperature
2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 tp (at least!) vanilla
1 2/3 c peanut butter chips ( 10oz bag)
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Sift flour, cocoa, soda, and salt together.  I have skipped this part and just stirred it all together, no problem.  Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl til light and fluffy.  Add eggs and vanilla, beat til incorporated.  Gradually add dry ingredients, too fast and the flour will fly!  With a wooden spoon, sitr in chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake 6-9 minutes.  Can bake a few first to get the time right-do not overcook!
Cool slightly and remove to wire rack.
Makes lots!  And make lots is EXACTLY what Val does.  Take a look at this photo.  Val and her husband have a campsite and this is where the cookies live when they go.

Question:  Who us up for some camping?  And, better yet, who's up for some delicious cookies?
