Tuesday - Orange Leaf Fundraiser for Audubon Noon to 10:00 pm—mention Audubon and our school will receive 25% from all purchases

Tuesday, March 19th:

  • FPS Team will be competing in Regional Governor’s Cup.

 

Wednesday, March 20th:

  • 3rd Grade will be taking a field trip to Mammoth Cave.

Friday, March 22nd:

  • 4th will be taking a field trip to the Louisville Science Center.
  • 5th will be taking a field trip to Brescia College.

Saturday, March 23rd:

  • Regional Governor’s Cup- The BES Future Problem Solving team and two other students will be competing.

Country Heights Elementary School 

CHES fifth-graders will be leaving Wednesday afternoon (4:45) for Washington, D.C.

Monday, March 25

Fifth graders travel to the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL for an overnight trip. Surveyor™ is a great way for larger groups to experience the excitement of space flight! Surveyor is a one-night, structured educational adventure that allows students, educators and chaperones the opportunity to explore the U.S. Space & Rocket Center. Trainees in the Surveyor Program prepare for a tumble spin on the Multi-Axis Trainer and experience the 5-Degrees of Freedom Chair! They see an IMAX® or a 3-D Movie in our on-site theaters, and build and launch paper rockets. They also have a science briefing that is correlated to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education national core curriculum standards.

Tuesday, March 19 –EVES Spring Pictures!  SMILE!

Thursday, March 21 –EVES Spring Play “Hats” - East View’s 2nd graders will be performing “Hats!” on March 21st at 1:00 and 6:00.  This is a mini musical that features several solos and it is about making good choices in life, with the different ‘hats’ we wear.  We plan to incorporate Leader in Me terminology using the 7 habits into this performance.  It is free to the public at 6:00 and 1:30 is for school, but we do allow parents at the 1:30 show.

 

Friday, March 22 – RAYS Breakfast –A special breakfast to celebrate our RAYS for the month of March!  Breakfast begins at 7 in the EVES cafeteria.

Friday, March 22 –EVES Volunteer Day – We invite all of our wonderful volunteers to come in and lend a hand on this day.  Lunch is FREE for volunteers and we will be providing FREE childcare (ages 2 and up only please) for volunteers between the hours of 12 pm -2 pm.

Tuesday – 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm.  “AESOP’s FABLES” a musical will be presented by our 1st and 2nd grade students.

3:30 Regional Academic Team Competition will take place at O’boro Catholic 4-6 Campus.  Tamarack’s Future Problem Solving Team will be competing.

Saturday – Members of the TES Cross Country team will participate in the Color Blast 5 K

Members of the TES Academic Team will participate in the Regional Governor’s Cup Competition at Catholic 4-6 Campus.
