Wow, this is really neat. How did I miss out on hearing of this special way to celebrate the Christmas season?

Starting November 16th and continuing through December 30, you can load up the kids, head over to Louisville and drive your own vehicle through 1.2 miles of underground passageways beneath the city! Yikes! Claustrophobics beware..

Presented by Fifth Third Bank, this year, the show will feature more than 800 lit characters (no, not lit like I get) and many are animated. There are more than 2,000,000 points of light in this fabulous show.  In addition to bringing back the popular 12 Days of Christmas, they have also added several new themed areas, including a Kentucky Christmas and Snowball Mania.

Lights Under Louisville has been voted a national top ten holiday attraction by America’s Best Online and has also been featured on Travel Channel’s “Christmas Crazy”.
