Wicked Weather kicks Up Dust in Owensboro

The weather changed fast this morning and something pretty spooky happened that I've never really noticed  before.

I'm sure this is normal when a storm rolls in and I just haven't witnessed it first hand, but when the wind picked up the farmland around my neighborhood sent dust flying into the streets. I covered my eyes as I walked down my drive during what seemed like a step back in time into the Dust Bowl.  I'm curious how the pool will look when I get home. We just may have our own private mud bath now. I'm curious now with the slight possibility of  more storms coming this evening what other surprises we'll be in for. Hopefully none!
