Will Paul McCartney play this summer in Indiana?

Well, according to reports, Bankers Life Fieldhouse is said to be planning the announcement of an event this Friday called “Out There,” which incidentally, is the name of Paul McCartney’s 2013 tour.

And if that tidbit of information wasn’t enough to at least peak your curiosity, then perhaps the fact that this announcement will reportedly be followed by an English breakfast to celebrate a musician who captivated the world as a member of…that’s right, The Beatles.

With the legendary performer having just announced six additional shows to this year’s tour, it appears to be a distinctly possibility that Paul McCartney will be performing in Indianapolis later this summer – perhaps as early as the end of May.

Paul McCartney’s “Out There” tour is scheduled to begin on May 4 in Brazil, with the U.S. dates beginning on May 18. So far, the only Midwest show that has been announced is May 26 in Memphis, Tn., in between a concert in Texas and Oklahoma. So, it only stands to reason that if McCartney is to play this year to a Hoosier crowd, it will be during the last week of May.
