The tristate is bracing for another blast of winter weather.  However, how much and what you see depends on where you live.  The majority of the WBKR listening area is under a Winter Weather Advisory.  But areas southeast of Owensboro are under a Winter Storm Warning.

For those in the Owensboro region, we could actually see up to 3 inches of snow today.  However, areas southeast of us face a Winter Storm Warning and could see around 4. For example, here's the forecast for our friends in Ohio County-

Today:  Snow, mainly after 11am. High near 32. Southeast wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of around 3 inches.
Tonight
Snow before 2am, then rain and snow likely. Low around 30. South wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
Washington's Birthday
A chance of rain and snow before 9am, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 41. South wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
Here's the good news though.  According to The National Weather Service, Monday's warm-up will help improve traffic greatly in the morning!  So, be careful today and enjoy what's shaping up to be a white Valentine's Day!
