I have been to Arlington National Cemetery twice in my lifetime--once when I was 4, and then again in 1994 when I was 28. By the way, on the day I went there in '94, there was kind of a light, misty rain and the skies were cloudy. It was very eerie. But after what I've recently learned, I'd now like to try to get there around Christmastime. The Worcester Wreath Company creates special holiday wreaths and then places them on the headstones at Arlington National Cemetery. In fact, they held the ceremony back ont December 10th. But the wreaths stay up through the holidays. It might be difficult to get there for the presentation, but that would be fine, so long as I could see what must be a breathtaking display.
