According to Eyewitness News meteorologist Wayne Hart, the tristate has an "enchanced" threat of severe weather today and tonight.  Damaging wings and hail are the main threats, but a few tornadoes cannot be ruled out.  Here's a look at the region under the greatest chance for rough weather today and a detailed look at the forecast.

THERE IS A CHANCE OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...MAINLY
THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS A COLD FRONT MOVES IN FROM THE WEST. DAMAGING WIND AND HAIL WILL BE THE PRIMARY HAZARDS. A TORNADO OR TWO CANNOT BE RULED OUT. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN IS ALSO A CONCERN.
