Terrifying Video Shows Near Miss at Chicago, Illinois Airport
A Chicago, Illinois airport nearly became the scene of a horrific accident today as video shows a harrowing near miss between a huge jet and smaller plane.
According to CNN, this happened at Chicago's Midway Airport today. The video shows a Southwest Airline coming in for a landing when another smaller plane appears to be taxiing in its path. This was reportedly Southwest Airlines Flight 2504. The smaller plane was a Bombardier Challenger 350.
The quick thinking and fast reaction of the Southwest Airline's pilot likely saved hundreds of lives as he went airborne again to avoid the smaller plane.
The Sun is reporting that this near miss happened Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at around 8:50am Chicago time.
